This 'Visual Inspiration' type of post is something I am going to start doing. As you know (or should know), I love movies. I love different movies for different reasons. Many movies I really love for their overall visual look. (Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette immediately comes to mind when I think of visually appealing movies.)
So, without further ado, S. Darko is one of those movies that I love mostly for the visuals. The movie was filmed in beautiful Utah, set in 1995. Visually, it's a mix of mellow, dessert, small town vibes and the dark, creepy, disturbing stuff. I don't want to get into a full movie review, I just want to share visuals.

The very first scene is my favorite. The girls are driving through Utah on a road trip. I always find the first five minutes of this movie so inspiring.
[I just noticed that this is the same font that we used for our Lux Cake Designs logo.]
And then things start to get creepy...
Aside from being visually inspirational, it's a good movie. I won't get into a full review, so I'll just say if you like what you see, I recommend it. (It's a sequel to Donnie Darko, if you couldn't tell.)
