Last week I stopped by my new favorite place, the cemetery, on my way home from work a couple times. Since I was a little kid I've loved to hang out in cemeteries. They're so pretty and peaceful. They're just like parks with grass and tress, but with all these interesting stones to read. And, usually, there aren't any people around.
About a month ago, I finally checked out the cemetery just down the street from me. I was so happy to know that there was a huge cemetery down the street from me when I moved here, but I never checked it out because I didn't want to go by myself. It wasn't until my friend Linda and I hung out and decided to have an adventure that I finally got to check it out. And now I'm in love. It's so beautiful. My first trip, I only had my iPhone to take pictures. It takes pretty good pictures, though.

don't you think this might be a little bit disrespectful ?
Obviously, I don't, or else I wouldn't do it.
I don't find it disrespectful unless there is someone around actually visiting a grave or whatever. It would be rude to be just hanging out while someone was mourning.
But if no one is there to see me, no one is there to be disrespected.
A columbarium is a building where urns are stored....so a columbarium garden means that actual caskets aren't in the graves but probably urns or just cremated remains.
I don't know if this is your attempt at being "quirky" or "weird" but those are real people, and taking pictures of headstones with cool names, and then putting captions on them that are supposed to be funny is entirely disrespectful. Have you ever considered that maybe family of those people would not want some random girl they don't know taking pictures of their relatives headstones and putting them on her blog? Cemeteries are not to hang out in. That is NOT their purpose.
that doesn't even make sense. even if no one sees you, doesn't mean it isn't disrespectful. just like stealing something when no one sees you doesn't make it any less wrong.
