Defying Gravity Premiere

First of all, I was excited to see two Canadian actresses in the previews (Christina Cox and Laura Harris) as well as the adorable Ron Livingston.
The show takes place 50 years in the future when a group of astronauts are about to embark on a mission to 7 planets in 6 years. There are a few flashbacks to show the previous relationships between the astronauts which will make their time in space interesting. People are calling it Grey’s Anatomy in space, which I get. It’s a bunch of adults stuck together with lots of complicated personal relationships and intense scientific stuff going on. There’s also a big mystery that some of the people make reference to in the first two episodes, which I think will keep me watching for a while to find out what’s going on.
